Music
Have you ever noticed how music is a mood changer? How even in moments of defeat and hollowness it can simply lift your mood up?
To me, music is some form of communication between us, and that of the cosmic world. It produces vibrations and symphonies meant to form communication sensors to break down barriers of misunderstandings between species. These instruments, fabulously put together to harvest sounds of peace, freedom and gratitude shows favour to the unforeseen world. It is through music that our universe seems to understand one another better and clearer.
It is when we play music that we finally grasp the idea of entertaining ourselves. It is through the emotional state of our entertainers that we become. That, we finally find belonging inside demographics lost within the same realm that we find ourselves in, it is through this form of artistic gesture that we seem to find strength, peace, love, hope, and direction.
It was during the Stone Age period that our ancestors decided to compose their first music. I could only assume that their curiosity came from listening and hearing natural sounds beaming from trees, mistakenly banging two things together, or from the banging and clicking of working equipment. Nonetheless, the existence of this form of art has saved countless of souls, and continue to do so. It is through this artist gesture that we have come to understand the human mind better, to see it in a different manner, and finally understand what it could be capable of. It is through the phenomena of using patterns, repetition, and tonality in order to create something so magical that this critical, piece of an organ, that we house within ourselves continue to, significantly surprise us.
Have you ever wondered why Jacques likes playing music on his boats? Specifically AC/DC, which, falls under the Rock ‘n’ Roll genre?
Rock music has embodied and served as the vehicle for cultural and social movements. While rock music has absorbed many audiences to different musical traditions, the global spread of rock music has been, interpreted as a form of cultural imperialism. It inherited the folk tradition of protest song, making political statements on subjects such as war, poverty, religion, justice and the environment.
Through their music, AC/DC has in fact, influenced generations. Through their music, they have seemly put themselves on their audiences’ shoes. They laid down the blueprint for a new hard rock sound; they understood what it felt like to be young and broke in the early 70s (which, millennials can easily relate to). They simply weathered punk by not wavering an inch; and even after the unfortunate death of their lead singer Bon Scott, they carried the love and passion with them. They simply acknowledged their undeniable presence within the music industry. It was in 1975 that the Australian band released their best yet album “It is a long way to the top”, and since then, they have never left the top of rock ‘n’ roll.
Now that you have an idea of why we have them on our boats, you can always expect to be “grooved” up a little before your dives. We work your nerves so they can relax a bit.Nothing beats this feeling before a Scuba Dive.
