The PADI Underwater Naturalist Specialty Course gives you the chance to see the ocean in a whole new way. Instead of just spotting fish or corals, you’ll learn how everything connects—from the tiniest reef creatures to the largest predators. By the end, you won’t just dive; you’ll understand the underwater world on a deeper level.

Over the course of two days, you’ll move between classroom theory and real underwater practice. First, you’ll cover key concepts like species identification, food chains, and the role of each organism in the ecosystem. Then, you’ll take that knowledge into the ocean. With two Open Water dives, you’ll observe marine life in action and apply what you’ve learned right away.

This course helps you:

Course Requirements:

Open Water certification (or equivalent).

Completed paperwork before starting.

Parental/guardian consent if under 18.

Knowledge reviews done online in advance.

Course Program:

2 days of theory and practical training.

2 Open Water/Ocean dives.

Excludes: Gear rentals.
