Who Can Join?

The PADI Discover Scuba Diving Course is ideal for beginners who want to experience scuba diving without committing to a full certification program. Participants must be 10 years of age or older. If you are under 18, a parent or guardian must complete and sign the necessary paperwork. All participants must complete the PADI Medical Statement; if you answer “yes” to any question, you must obtain medical clearance signed by a doctor, valid within the past 12 months (the doctor cannot be the participant). Additionally, basic swimming skills are required—you don’t need to be an expert, but you should feel comfortable in the water.
